What I Do To Keep Warm
On cold days like today, I do many things to keep warm. One of these things is that I put on a lot of clothing to keep the heat unsulated inside of my body. I aslo wrap myself in a lot of blankets, which keeps the heat insulated inside of my body also. On really cold days, I make a cup of hot chocolate, start a fire in my fire place, or get in the hot tub. The hot chocolate keeps my stomach warm and my hands, from holding the cup. When I have the fire in the fire place going, I just sit in front of it and the heat from the fire keeps me warm. And obviously the hot tub keeps me warm because I'm sitting in 100 degree water. Finally, another thing I do to keep warm on cold days is excerise. This keeps me warm and I also like doing it. These are most of the activities I do to keep warm on winter days.

Thanksgiving Dinner
This year, for Thanksgiving, I will be cooking dinner. I am going to invite many people, like, my aunts, uncles, grandma, grandpa, and cousins. I will aslo invite a couple of friends. My mom will most likely help me cook this dinner because she is a pretty good cook. We are going to cook various kinds of food. All the usual holiday food will be at this dinner which include, turkey, corn, potatoes, and green beans. But some unusual holiday food will be cooked too. This includes tacos, nachos, rice and beans, chicken teriyaki, lobster, and crab legs. There will also be many desserts. Of course, the traditional desserts, such as pumpkin pie, sweet potato pie, and apple pie. Then, we will have some extra desserts which include cherry cheesecake, butterfinger cheesecake, and Oreo cream pie. I can not wait to sit down with friends and family, and enjoy all of this food.

Something I would die for
I would fight or even die for my mom and dad. They have obviously been with me since day one, and I would not want it any other way. I know that my mom and will support and be there for me through thick and thin. My mom and dad will do anything, including die for me, so I would be willing to do the same. My parents provide me with a various amount of things, including a roof over my head, clothes on my back, and food on my plate. They have helped me deal with many problems in my life and I know they will help me get through the many other problems that are sure to come. When it comes to my parents I am very defensive, so I would have no problem being put in a situation where I would have to fight or even die for them.

If I could do something that I've never done before..
If I could do something that I have never done before, I would be a garbage man. I would want to do this for many reasons. First, it has been my dream job for years. Second, I would be able to impact society and help clean up the trash that would end up on the streets if it was not pickled up. Third, it seems like a pretty fun job. Operating the arm that lifts the garbage into the truck seems amusing to me. Also, driving the truck around seems enjoyable because I like to drive. Second to last, garbage men make good money too. I would be able to support myself from the money I earn. Finally, I would not have a problem doing this because I am strong so I could lift the garbage and I am a very hard worker. Being a garbage man seems enjoyable, fun, and hard all at the same time.

Technology In My Life
Technology is an important aspect of my life. This is because most everything people do or have to do is on the internet. Technology helps me in school and out. In school we take a lot of tests and quizzes online. Out of school I have to go on angel to check my grades and to read any important announcements. It also helps me communicate with friends and family. I use Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and texting to communicate with people. With out technology I would not be able to take tests online, check my grades, look important information up, or communicate with my peers. Technology also helps at the doctor's office. When I broke my wrist I got a X ray to see what was wrong with me. I also got a cat scan when the doctor could not see what was wrong with my foot through X rays. I came to find out from the cat scan that I had an extra bone in both of my feet. Technology benefits people in many ways and has a big impact on my life.

If Money Was No Object
If money was no object I would be a personal trainer. I would do this because I enjoy lifting and exercising myself. The decision of being a personal trainer would affect society in several ways. Many people in the United States have obesity problems, and the obesity rate is constantly climbing. My skills as a personal trainer would impact society by lowering the obesity rate in the U.S. Another way my skills would have an affect on society is that it would make people healthier. The many calories somebody just ate at McDonald's could be burned off by coming to me to exercise. Lastly, many people have self esteem issues. If somebody looked at them self as weak or frail, they could come to me and work hard to get bigger and stronger. This would help people who think poorly of themselves. Overall, my abilities as a personal trainer would influence society in numerous ways.

Ode To My Food
Justin brought me
Two tacos
And some rice
Which he made himself
With his chef skilled hands
Two tacos extravagantly delicious
As well as nutritious
I pull out my iPhone
And put the food on IG
It looks so delectable
I want everyone to see
When I bit the taco
It tasted so good
The feeling in my mouth was better
Than getting out of the hood
I fill my spoon heavy with rice
All of the spices were precise
My taste buds felt really nice
But my heart felt like ice
This feeling of joy will soon pass
This satisfying meal was bound not to last
But all good things do come to an end
Like Eminem's career or a passing by trend
The moral of this ode is this
Savor the moments of bliss
Whether its devouring good food
Or kicking it with your dude
The memories, you are sure to miss.

My Hobby
I have many hobbies and activities that I like to do, but my favorite is working out. I like working out because it makes me stronger, bigger, and in shape. Working out is not just doing a couple of exercises and lifting weights. There is a lot to go along with it. I take protein powder two times a day and also take creatine pills before and after I work out. I also have to have a healthy diet if I want good results. Mondays are leg days so I do work outs like squats and lunges. Wednesdays are arm and chest day so I do work outs like bench, push ups, and push downs. Finally, Fridays are back days. Examples of what I do on Fridays would be dead lift, pull ups, and shrugs. I also do abs at the end of every work out like crunches and sit ups. In the past year, from working out, eating good, and taking the powder and pills, I went from being 140 pounds to 180 pounds and only 9% fat. I am going to continue to work out and I hope to see more good results.

One Thing I Could Change
If I could change one thing that has happened in the past in my life, it would be to have my grandma back. My grandma passed away a week after my fifth birthday and I was devastated. I was really close with my grandma and loved spending time with her. When we received the call about my grandma, my family was shocked because it was so unexpected. If I could bring her back it would affect not only me, but the rest of my family and her friends. Everybody loved my grandma. She was so friendly, lovable, caring and easy to get along with. I would finally get to spend time with her again and have her involved in my life. She would have loved to come watch my football games last year. She also would have been excited about me getting my license. I really miss my grandma and wish she could come back.

The People I Value Most
The two people I value most in life are my mom and dad. I value them most because they are always there for me and always want the best for me. My mom and dad taught me everything I know from crawling to walking, from making sounds to talking, and from riding a bike to driving a car. They show me everyday, from the day I was born until now, how much they love and care for me by providing for me, keeping a roof over my head, supporting me in everything I do, and teaching me the responsibilities of every day life. They always show me how proud they are of the person I am becoming. Even though, my parents make me do things I sometimes do not want to do, they explain to me how it will make my life better in the long run. When I grow up and have a family, I hope to be as great a parent as mine are. I am lucky to have parents like my mom and dad.

One interesting thing I did this summer
One interesting thing I did this summer was get my temps. I was waiting a long time for this to happen. I was so excited because I knew the time was almost here. I could not go take my test until August 20th and it seemed like it took forever for that day to come. I was constantly counting down the days. I spent a lot of time studying the book to make sure I passed the first time. Finally, the day had come and I was really nervous. When my dad got home from work, he took me to the BMV in Elyria. While taking the test, I had to take my time. I had to make sure I did not mess up. I was really excited after the test when I found out I had passed. I could not wait to drive, so my dad let me drive home. Now, whenever we go somewhere, I'm the one usually driving. Both my parents told me I was a good driver, and should have no problem passing the test to get my license when I'm 16.

My Name
I think my name, Justin, is as plain as white bread. You pronounce it Jus-tin. It is of Latin origin and is a variant of Justus. There are eighteen different forms of Justin. The name Justin means just, upright, and righteous. Justin is a very popular name for males. As of 2012, it is fifty six out of one thousand two hundred twenty for popular names, which is a drop because in 1990 it was number one. Justin is also a popular last name, twelve thousand eight hundred twelve out of eighty eight thousand seven hundred ninety nine. The name Justin has been used since the late middle ages, but did not become common until the twentieth century. Justin was a popular name among the early Christians because it embodies "fairness", one of the Christian principles. The name Justin is celebrated as a Saint Day on January first by the Catholic church, also celebrated on September seventeenth by the Catholic church in honor of St. Justin.
I'm the first person in my family to have the name Justin. I was named this because my parents both liked the name. I also like my name, when I hear somebody say it, my face lights up like the sun.

Never Give Up
The rule I follow most is to never give up. I believe in this rule because I feel I will not reach any of my goals in life if I give up. There may be situations that come up where they seem too hard and it would be easy to just give up and quit, but I know if I stay determined and try hard and push through it, I can overcome those situations. Most anything that is worth accomplishing is going to be a little difficult, but do not give up. For example, Early College sometimes gets hard, but when it does I just keep trying until I accomplish what I need to because what I get at the end will be worth the hard work. I just always keep in mind what the reward will be at the end of the task. This makes me keep going. I know that nothing is out of reach if I never give up.
